Pixel tablet and pixel fold got the latest Android 15 developer preview in which users get the old classic taskbar that was introduced with Android 12.
The persistent taskbar was beneficial for large screen devices and heavy productivity but in Pixel tablet and Pixel Fold Google replaced it with a transient taskbar.
The transient taskbar is only limited and not helpful for multitasking. User needs to swipe back down from their current app, which interprets multitask flow.
In the new Android 15 preview users have the choice to switch between the transient look and the traditional one which resembles Google’s commitment to integrating user feedback into Android 15 DP2 that enhances user preference
