Sony’s upcoming flagship, the Xperia 1 VI (mark 6) shown with a new design in render leaks, with the rear camera cover removed and the introduction of a front-facing macro array camera “Micro Matrix”
According to CNMO via Japanese media reports suggest that Sony’s first-half flagship for 2024, named “Xperia 1 VI” is likely to be announced and released around May. A leaked image which is not confirmed officially showcases the design that closely resembles the upcoming model.
With some notable departures from the previous Xperia design, particularly in the arrangement around the rear camera. No pill-shaped camera, just a single lens like the Galaxy S series.
The front design appears to house three small camera lenses on the left side of the top bezel. Rumors have long circulated about Sony’s development of a front-facing macro array camera called “Micro Matrix” which is now reportedly in mass production.
