Recent rumors via the tipster state that the use of MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9000 chips in the Galaxy S series seems to be wrong because of MediaTek’s supply chain woes. With the demand for Dimensity 9300 already high above in the Chinese market, Samsung’s ambitious plans faced an insurmountable obstacle.
MediaTek’s projected supply of ten million units falls woefully short of the 30 to 35 million units required to meet the Galaxy S series’s rising demand. Despite the potential of cost-effective alternatives, Samsung is purely focused on choosing the right equipment for their phones. While Qualcomm is also serving high-end performance and power this is the only way to go for Samsung. The Dimensity 9000 series is quite incredible and grabs the attention with its high performance with better power efficiency. For now, supply should meet demand unless there’s no change for the Galaxy S series
