Creative director of Remedy Entertainment “Sam Lake” has teased his next project as a dark gothic fantasy game In an interview with GQ, Lake said that he has always wanted to make such a game and that he has a “crazy, huge budget” concept in mind.
Lake said that he sees Control as a step in the direction of a dark gothic fantasy game, with its semi-open world hub design. However, he also said that the future will show how far Remedy wants to go in that direction.
Remedy is currently busy with four other projects. It’s unclear when Lake’s dark gothic fantasy game could be released. However, fans of the studio are already excited about the possibility of a new genre from the creators of Max Payne and Control
