Recent reports stated that CMF, which is a sub-brand of Nothing, is going to launch their CMF phone (1) next month. The phone is said to have inspired from Nothing phone (2a) and use MediaTek Dimenstiy 7300 chipset.
According to the report the leak came from an X user who doesn’t have any prior record of this news and thus the leak cannot be verified as confirmed. The Dimensity 7300 used in the phone is same as the power level of Snapdragon 778G+. The processor is based on a power efficient 4nm Octa-core architecture with 4X Cortex-A55 clocked at 2.5Ghz that reduces the power usage by 25% as compared to Dimensity 7050 chip. The upcoming Oppo Reno 12 series is also using the same chipset
These are some concept designs shared by the X user @Rahul Janardhanan, with dual rear camera, flash, dotted pattern back and a knob on bottom right-side whose purpose is not revealed yet.
In terms of features, the device is expected to have a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. A 5000mAh battery that support 33W fast charging, and under display fingerprint scanner. While the device will not use additional features of the Nothing phone like its Glyph interface and also lack of NFC
The base version of the CMF phone (1) will have a 6GB+128GB storage version and custom Nothing OS built on Android 14.
