Design

The first 5K CAD-based renders showcase the smartphone in Dark Gray. Unlike the predecessors, the phone (2a) features a distinctive design with a horizontally aligned dual-camera setup inside a centrally placed circular island. Two sensors are positioned at the center of the island within a pill-shaped cutout, surrounded by a concentric texture extending to the edge.

The flash module sits towards the top right of the camera module, while Nothing’s iconic Glyph lights adorn the surroundings.

Front

On the front, the phone has minimal bezels, a centrally located punch-hole camera, and metallic frame/buttons, presenting a bold and premium appearance characteristic of Nothing.

Specifications

In terms of specifications, the phone (2a) will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The camera setup includes a primary ISOCELL S5FG9 50MP sensor with OIS, a secondary ISOCELL JN1 50MP sensor for ultrawide images, and a 32 MP selfie camera. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro Soc, the phone will offer options of 8/12GB RAM and 128/256 GB storage. A 5000 mAh battery supporting 45W wired charging and runs on Nothing OS 2.5.2 based on Android 14. Additionally, it will feature NFC, an AI wallpaper generation feature, and an IP54 water and dust resistance rating.

Price

The starting price of the phone (2a) is expected to be under Rs. 25,000 with the base variant possibly available for around Rs. 23,999 in India.
