Kuo believes that Apple is going to reveal great features in its AI and LLM technologies in its software and apps like the translation features, search, photo editing and other AI document etc.

One of the most anticipated features is Siri, which is expected to use the smart assistant in its major upgrade for better web searching without opening google. But due to the current hardware limitations, like the upcoming iPhone 16 series will also use the 8GB memory and thus LLM technologies might be limited because of the reason that these functions require heavy hardware tasks. But Apple might seem to use both local and server side LLM tech to improve its Siri.

Due to some limitations Apple is expected to not fully release the LLM tech at launch but release in phases of cloud LLM that will take more time to acquire all features. This will also impact on companies’ revenue and growth

However, things might not go same as every time, the other brands are also in the race to give the best user experience, so it’s a question for the upcoming iPhone whether it will be a good choice to move to these phones. As Apple invested heavily in these techs, he assures that the new AI and machine learning techs of Apple will really helpful in future. Kuo also mentioned in his report that the iPhone 16 series’ sales might not go well in the second half of 2024 as compared to the iPhone 15 series.

The market is optimistic, with Apple’s stock rising, anticipating that new AI features could drive a wave of hardware upgrades.
