Meizu held a special event to unveil its first AI terminal, the Meizu 21 PRO. This event was unique as Meizu Group CEO Shen Ziyu invited former Meizu executives, Li Nan and Yang Yan, to host it. Right from the start, Meizu declared that the Meizu 21 PRO is essentially the Xiaomi 14 Pro.
All specifications were disclosed, emphasizing the similarity to the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Meizu assures trust in Lei Jun (Xiaomi’s Chairman) for the technical aspects, while highlighting Meizu’s commitment to aesthetics and user experience. Meizu also took a jab at Apple, comparing the chamfering of the Meizu 21 PRO’s middle frame to that of the iPhone 15, with a claim of superior signal quality.
The Meizu 21 PRO features the third-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 mobile platform, up to 16GB+1TB storage, IP68 dust and waterproof rating, and a 2K+ resolution OLED screen supplied by BOE. Other highlights include a rear dual OIS imaging system, a triple humanistic telephoto camera, sixth-generation master-level dual super linear speakers, and a vein-patterned environmentally friendly plain leather back cover.
