Galaxy S20 and Note 20 series will receive software updates only once in three months

Galaxy S20 series was launched in 2020 with Android 10 support and now a recent report by ithome said that Samsung has reduced the number of frequencies of software updates for the S20 series and Note 20 series from once a month to once three months. All the S20 series including S20, S20+ and S20 FE, and S20 Ultra will receive updates every three months.

While the Galaxy S20 series has received March’s Security Patch and the device is working fine. The next update will roll out in April and S20 series will not receive this update. Samsung’s last commitment regarding their third-gen Android system update has now stopped for these devices.

In addition, the Galaxy Note 20 series will also receive updates quarterly
