Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman mentioned in his newsletter that iOS 18 will bring some additional customizations to home screens of users
Gurman mentioned that users will now be able to place icons freely where they want. The fixed alignment is no more a problem if you want, and also you can change the colors of the app icons.
Gurman further added that there are several AI features coming to iOS 18 in 2024, which we also mentioned recently. This include AI search features in Safari 18 browser, transcribing voice memos, AI photos enhancement etc. iOS a 18 and macOS 15 will use their Apple’s integrated software tech to analyse whether the task should be done with the device itself or by the cloud service.
